OUR MISSION

Harboring Hugs is a faith based non-profit organization located in Bay St Louis Mississippi. We are dedicated to empowering survivors of sexual assault through planned one-on-one interaction. It is our mission to provide compassionate support through, multiple therapeutic strategies, proactive education, self-defense, group meetings, and legal guidance. By fostering understanding, safety, and advocacy, we strive to help survivors reclaim their voice and rebuild their confidence.

Our Services

Our self-defense program equips participants with situational awareness,

de-escalation techniques, and physical defense strategies. Our goal is to empower community members with the tools and knowledge to stay safe in any situation.

Our therapy program offers survivors, animal therapy, group meetings, counseling, and faith-based life coaching to aid in their healing journey.

Animal therapy

With a proactive education program, we equip students with knowledge about consent and personal safety. By fostering awareness, we aim to create a culture of respect, accountability, and prevention in our community.
